i've had this
issue with MS office 2007 previews in WIN7 when using word's Open dialog, it's a
very common problem thats been around for years with no fix from microsoft. well
i found a fix finally that works. i don't know who at HD has WIN7 so figured i
would send this to you for a look-see. it worked perfectly!
To fix the error with the windows preview in
Windows 7 try the following steps:
1) On the taskbar on your Windows 7 desktop, click the windows button
2) Navigate to All Programs > Microsoft Office
3) Right Click on Microsoft Office Word 2007
4) Select Properties
5) On Compatibility Tab check the checkbox for "Run this program in compatability mode for "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
6) Click OK
