How to Turn Off (Reset) the "MAINT REQD" Maintenance Required Nag Screen - 2011 Toyota Sienna


After changing the engine oil (U.S.A. only) The engine oil maintenance data should be reset. Perform the following procedures:

-Vehicles without a smart key system
Switch the display to the trip meter A and then turn the engine switch off.

-Vehicles with a smart key system.
Switch the display to the trip meter A and then turn the engine START STOP switch off.

-Vehicles without a smart key system
While pressing the trip meter reset button, turn the engine switch to the on position.

-Vehicles with a smart key system.
While pressing the trip meter reset button, turn the engine START STOP switch to ignition ON mode.

-Vehicles without a multi-information display
Continue to press and hold the button until the trip meter A displays 000000

-Vehicles with a multi-information display.

Continue to press and hold the button until Complete appearson the multi-information display.


Here's another way i found to turn off annoying dashboard warning lights for the Toyota Sienna 2011 (be careful, your car could be sick! this may work for other Siennas or Toytotas)

1. Turn trip meter knob all the way counter-clockwise
2. Turn on the ACC (accessory) but don't start the engine
3.  Reset both A and B trip meters
4.  Leave the knob on Trip A
5. Turn off ACC
6.  Push knob all the way in while turning on ACC
7. Wait for the system to reset
8.  Start van/car
9.  Drive away

i've had this issue with MS office 2007 previews in WIN7 when using word's Open dialog, it's a very common problem thats been around for years with no fix from microsoft. well i found a fix finally that works. i don't know who at HD has WIN7 so figured i would send this to you for a look-see. it worked perfectly!

To fix the error with the windows preview in Windows 7 try the following steps:

1) On the taskbar on your Windows 7 desktop, click the windows button
2) Navigate to All Programs > Microsoft Office
3) Right Click on Microsoft Office Word 2007
4) Select Properties
5) On Compatibility Tab check the checkbox for "Run this program in compatability mode for "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
6) Click OK

Stuff
